VELCRO® Brand nylon Hook 88 and loop 1000 fasteners with adhesive backing are constructed using 6 mil Monofilament and binder coated to safeguard against fraying when cut. These hook and loop fasteners from VELCRO® Brand are known for their exceptional durability and extended cycle life. Rubber and Acrylic adhesives exhibit differences, with the rubber-based pressure sensitive adhesive designed for medium temperature ranges, performing well on various substrates, particularly uneven or rough surfaces. On the other hand, the Acrylic-based pressure sensitive adhesive offers a broader operating temperature range and excellent resistance to moisture and chemicals.

The Rubber Adhesive performs optimally on substrates such as aluminum, stainless steel, painted metal, glass, rigid plastics, and drywall, making it ideal for uneven or rough surfaces.
To ensure proper bonding, the surface must be clean, preferably with a solvent, and completely dry. For optimal results, bonding is recommend at room temperature, ranging from 60°F to 75°F.
